Anthea Fane 

Anthea was trained in New York, studying classical Pilates under the supervision of Romana Kryzanowska in 1999. She later received Advanced Teacher Training from Alycea Ungaro. She also received her certification in strength training from the National Council of Strength and Fitness, as well as a bridge certification from PTA Global. She is certified in Pre/Post Natal Exercise through AFPA, and in TRX suspension training. Her experience working with people living with cancer inspired her to become certified in the Pink Ribbon Program for postoperative rehabilitation. She has taught Pilates in New York, San Francisco, Austin and Tokyo, where she was a Teacher Trainer for Peak Pilates. Anthea first discovered Pilates as a way to balance her own scoliosis after having spinal fusion surgery. She loves working with people who are trying to overcome similar challenges and has a background working with all ages and all levels of physical conditioning from people recovering from a stroke to professional athletes. She also has extensive training in martial arts and movement for the actor. Anthea has developed a reputation for giving a merciless workout “sweetly.” She truly believes you can change your body with this work and if you are ready to work hard and commit to your training, you will see incredible results.
